This sink was one of a pair for restrooms in a commercial office. The sink shape was created using a computer program from which a foam mold was cut with the unique wave division to separate the two sides of the basin. The sink was cast in shop and the concrete was colored using a paint swatch to match the paint used in the restroom.
This residential French country concrete countertops was precast and hand troweled in our khaki color with light brown glaze. Two iron scrolls were inlaid and hand troweled into the concrete along the sides of the hammered copper farm sink. The classic edge profile and sink edges were distressed to follow suit with the cabinetry and gave this countertop an old world look and feel.
The concrete countertops in this kitchen were hand troweled and glazed to work with the natural slate flooring. The island in this modern setting created the perfect opportunity to inlay a unique design element, an integral towel bar. We chose brushed steel for this inlay which was cast into the form. This design element has become a popular add-on for our clients.
This traditionally modern residential fireplace surround was an existing fireplace which was refaced in concrete wall panels, pilasters, a hearth, and mantel. The concrete wall panels were custom scribed to the wall for a crisp and tight fit. Wood corbels mounted the pilasters against the wall panels to create the footing for the large concrete mantel. The existing hearth was covered with a hollowed out pre-cast hearth. This concrete fireplace completely transformed the room creating a focal point and conversation piece.
These lighted commercial bar tops at the Wellmont Theater located in Montclair, NJ were created using a cast-in-place system. To create an amazing lighting effect on the bar top almost 5 miles of fiber optics were embedded in the 100 foot bar top.
This Golf enthusiasts' bar top was designed with the sink as a sand trap. The client's bag tags from around the world were embedded in the top. The towel bars were created using antique golf clubs.
This white inverted ramp sink was created to ensure no splashing. The drain is at the back so the water flows like a moat around to it. The sink is support under the front with steel which allows it to look as if it is floating.
