Custom Concrete Solutions, LLC This commercial floor at the Turcos Super Ranch Market in Yorktown Heights, NY features polished and stained concrete. The challenge of this job was the 50 year old concrete which had old tile marks that needed to be removed and cracks and open joints that needed to be repaired. A product called Versaflex was used for open joint repair. Once the concrete was repaired and the cracks and joints filled the concrete was ground to a finish of 3000 grit and stained with Ameripolish's burnt sienna. Most of this project was completed during regular business hours when the store was open.
A1 TriState This concrete floor in the media arts building at New York University was created by broadcasting color hardener on new concrete and working it into the surface. Once the surface was dry the concrete was polished to an 800 grit matte finish and then sealed.
